I am a queer therapist, originally from the UK. I am also an experienced practitioner working with clients for over 15 years now, in many different settings. I have a science and business background: my first degree was in Zoology/Psychology, and i worked in Logistics for 10 years. Then, feeling tired of the corporate 9 – 5, i decided at 30 to got back to university to retrain as a therapist.

my therapist work experience:

  • set up private practice, Berlin
  • lead counsellor for the UK’s largest HIV/ Sexual health charity (Terrence Higgins Trust)
  • working with 16 – 25 yo at a higher education college offering Brief / Solution Focussed Therapy (Bridgend College)
  • working with people experiencing problems with gambling on a successful pilot scheme in South Wales (Gamcare/ARA)
  • part of a university based counselling & research clinic providing free counselling to the general public (University of Wales, Newport)
  • working as a voluntary counsellor for Cruse Bereavement Care (Grief Counselling)

as a therapist, what i enjoy the most in my work is meeting people where they’re at, getting to meet the different versions of themselves through the process, and witnessing them to be the most they can be in their lives.

i work with individuals and couples/partnerships. my practice is anti-racist, poly and kink affirmative, is also neurodivergentally aligned, trauma informed, and intersectional. to give you an idea of the kinds of issues you might like to bring to therapy, and which i am experiened working with:
